Ritz Paris Buffet

A custom buffet for the Ritz Paris: curved Corian surfaces over a metal frame, with a quartz countertop, built in our Bucharest workshop.

The design called for curves everywhere: tiered round ends, arched panels and rows of perforated details. We started from a 3D model of the internal metal frame, then welded and painted the frame in our workshop.

Each curved surface was shaped over plywood formers and set in place with dozens of clamps until it held its form. The exterior is Corian in a warm ivory, finished with a quartz countertop.

Every piece was wrapped and strapped in our workshop for the trip to Paris.
